What is the status of the kid from Strake that ran the 9.98 and jumped 25+?

Did UH recruit him?

Committed on 4/14!
Guess weâre wrapping up our 2019 class. Donât see many 2020 recruits yet.
Total of 12 menâs scholarships and 18 womenâs?
My â20 daughterâs 5A team was third in regional 4x200.
Georgia Bulldogs are going to be hard-to-beat with Strake Jesuitâs Matt Boling
Boling just ran a 9.98 100m⊠that would have qualified him for the Rio 2016 Olympic finals
Runs the 100m⊠200m⊠4x100 relay and long jump
Wonder why he chose Georgia. Very good school but so are quite a few others.
Million dollar question⊠I misunderstood and thought I heard he was headed to Georgia TechâŠ
Been to Athens. Its very weird in some places but Cali N titos is a spot i wish we had and the bar scene is okay. Maybe thats what got him along with the tree that owns itself. The campus is pretty big aswell.
10.16*
The kid is very good, but a +4.2 wind will not have qualify you in Rio 2016
Georgia Men won D1 NCAA 2018 track & field championship.
Still, he is in Houston. UH, LSU, Texas A&M are all close by and just as good of programs or better, especially if you are just looking at sprinters/jumpers. Tech has been elite the last few years too and UT will always pay guys.
I havenât looked at their other recruits, but Georgia has no guys from Texas and pretty much their whole team are Georgia kids with some internationals mixed in. It is a little interesting that he is going out there.
UGa is hugely popular at my kids school but Matt Stafford created a local legacy. A friends son I know chose UGa over Vassar. Much better academics than UH, Aggy and LSU.
I hear UGa looks like SMU or maybe itâs the opposite since UGa is older.
