Thanks H-Town. So if we go over our $650K, do we eat the cost? Do we have to sell out our allotment? Itâs sounding like a money loser. Thatâs why the SMU official I spoke with was wanting Frisco. And they have a much smaller band.

He projects us to Hawaii against Colorado State.
Strange, down below he has Southern Miss playing FSU in the Independence Bowl, but up above, he says that itâs either USF or FAU.
I would think that if USF ends up in Shreveport, it would move us over to the Birmingham Bowl to play a P5, but heâs projecting Texas Tech vs. USF which would end up being us vs. Tech in a rematch.

Yeah what kind of shoddy fan base is incapable of selling out a 20k seat soccer stadium just a few miles from their campus
Bowl games give away about 10k tickets and count them as sold so a little different. The point is SMU wont even have 5k fans there and we would bring more.
On a personal level I would prefer the Auto Nation bowl so we could go see it. In Orlando means lots to do in the area.

I know Duarte has been saying Hawaii done deal but this morning ESPN has us in different bowls both against P5.
Just waiting for the official answer. Hawaii Bowl means an incredibly small # of fans get to the game. Nice trip for team.
Frankly Iâd rather us have a bowl that treats the players to a good time. They earned it from past seasons. I donât think we have a good game against an 8-4 P5 team.
