  • Daniel Poncedeleon made a few trips between St. Louis and AAA. He’s currently up with the big club
  • Kyle Dowdy was sent to AA and then traded to Cleveland. He’s assigned to their AA club in Akron.
  • Andrew Lantrip was promoted to Short Season A ball.

  • Marshall Kasowski continued his impressive year by being promoted to AA ball

Notables:

  • Jake Scheiner got hot last month and has been crushing the ball
  • Connor Hollis has been impressive so far since signing

Heading into Wednesday’s doubleheader with the BlueClaws, Scheiner owns a .299/.370/.480 slash between time at third base, first base and left field. The native of Santa Rosa, Calif., ranks third in the SAL in batting average (.299), hits (130) and on-base percentage (.370), tied for fourth in doubles (30) and ninth in slugging percentage (.480).

He also has five triples, 13 home runs, 62 RBI, 63 runs scored and nine stolen bases.
