Iâm not sure why I care about this, but I assume part of the reasoning behind committing to a school early is to make sure that scholarship is available to you when NSD rolls around, right? In that case, wouldnât it be smart of a kid to keep that commitment in place while exploring other opportunities, and only decommit once youâve decided to commit somewhere else? Seems really weird in this case where he says to Tulsa, âI want to see other girls, but please donât give up on me because it may work out later if I canât find anything better.â Just seems like it would be smarter to keep that thought locked up in your brain and not actually say it out loud.
Sounds like to me he committed early to Tulsa because they were the best choice at the time. Happens a lot in the recruiting game. But now he is getting more interest and wants to look around. Being he is not a five star, I would say he needs to find a school and sit on the scholarship the rest of the way without ticking folks off wavering all aroundâŠ
