Most likely - some time this year or next.
Maybe he hasn’t garnered the requisite amount of attention yet. Wish all these kids were like Ed Oliver. Quietly commit, shut your mouth, work your tail off, and dominate on the field. Not sure why everything has to be a production these days.

It’s not quite prime time yet… it’s gonna be 7 or 8 before he declares most likely that he’s pushing back the date

I don’t mind them making a big show out of it. For a lot of these kids this is going to be their last time in the limelight like this. They may go on to productive college careers like a Trevon Stewart but they won’t make it to the league. So I say let them have their fun. Hopefully between Bryson Smith and Amie we have our dual threat QB’s for the next half decade.

247 didn’t have the ULaLa offer, but he’s only received 6 so far and removed NM State. Wonder if he’ll remove one each time. 
In all seriousness, I hope we land this kid as he’s got a ton of speed. We also could reopen a pipeline with Angleton as Ryan Jackson came from there.
It would be nice to get another Angleton kid, no doubt…Ryan Jackson is the only Wildcat I can remember ever signing with UH since I have been following Coog football…and that cover over 55 years…Most of the studs like BJ end up Longhorns as former Wildcat and Longhorn Quentin Jammer still has a huge influence in his hometown…
That said, I think Williams has plenty of speed and could be a really good receiver at the next level…
