Looks like Lael will be in the Cape Cod League next summer.
Tyler Littlefield will be with the Nashua Silver Knights of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
Looks like a Coog or Coogs will be with the Port Angeles Lefties West Coast League (wooden bat league). Don’t know who will be joining them as I can’t find a current roster or signing update, but the article says they’ll be there.
The 2018 Lefties will come from big programs such as the University of Houston, Long Beach State, Virginia Tech, Tulane, Utah, UC-Irvine, Northern Colorado, Central Florida and Southeast Louisiana. There’s also a couple of players from nearby Seattle University — Nathan Bonck and Ethan Christianson— and kids from the Northwest Athletic Conference.
Littlefield, who’s redshirting this year, is already playing summer ball:

Note: I’ll start tracking summer league guys this weekend.
I watched Monty and Vidales play at that field in 2014.
2019 Summer League Coogs as of June 17th.
These were all of the Coogs I could find so far. Things change from week to week (for example, Villarreal was added to Waynesboro today) so there may be additions and subtractions. I’ll try to keep up with them, but I may miss a few players here and there.
I’m including Elvir for now as his roster lists him from UH even though he didn’t play for the Coogs last year. No idea if he’s planning on coming back to UH next year, but I’ll follow him. He’s one of the ones I really thought would do well for the Coogs out of JUCO, was with the Coogs in the fall, but was left off the roster in the spring.
If you know of anyone else I’m missing out on, let me know. I scanned about 25 leagues to search for them and I know there’s more out there, but these are the more reputable ones.
“He’s a good player,” Shapiro said. “That’s why you hope to get freshmen. … We have some guys that have been here, and hopefully they can lead. They’ve been through it.”
Triolo left the Cape last summer with a .281 batting average, helped out greatly by a postseason in which he hit .393 with seven extra-base hits in nine games. He said he came back this year looking to continue to improve his power hitting.
Looks like Lockhart is ready to go now. They start talking about Lael at 11:36 and then he’s interviewed at 13:13.
The Gatemen Broadcasting Staff previews the home contest against the Chatham Anglers tonight. Tonight’s Pregame Show includes analysis by our Broadcasters JD Raucci, Henrique DaMour and Cameron Stuart, as well as interviews with Gatemen Manager Don Sneddon and tonight’s designated hitter Lael Lockhart Jr. by our sideline reporter Mary Orders.
