SMU’s Chelsea Francis is real tough in the 100.

It’s going to be a great meet!

Tomorrow’s the start.

SMU’s Chelsea Francis has the best 100 and 200 times this season. From SMU Daily Campus:
“I want to win the 100 and 200 and set conference records in both,” Francis said. “I want that because I want my name to go down in school history and in conference history.”

Maybe UH is good across the board. Are we the favorites to win women’s and men’s?

We’ll win the mens…just depends on when we clinch it.

Women will be tougher; will depend on if we have some good outings. If we’re close when it comes to the 4x400, we should win it.

I like it when we are last after Friday’s day 1 field events… and then we get into speed events and end up running away with the trophy :trophy:

Always love the wall of red that usually occurs in the Finals of the 200m and 100m. We might have 7 guys in the final of the 100m this year.

Coogs already have 5 in the 200m finals with one more heat and 4 more runners to go. This is nuts.

Coogs end up with 6 qualifying for the finals. 8 of the top 11 were Coogs.

Montgomery, Burke, and Igbokwe qualified Top 3, Sumler and Booker were 5th and 6th, Alexander was 8th.

Women qualified 2 for the 200m Final: Fr-Ashley Seymour qualifies 6th and Naomi Taylor qualifies 8th

No Birexus Hawkins on the meet sheets. That’ll hurt us on the women’s side.

Lattin just destroyed everyone in his heat of the 400m hurdles. Beat everyone by 3 seconds and set the AAC Championships meet record.

Jordan puts up the 2nd best time in the 400m Hurdles and that wasn’t close either.

That’s it for the Coogs tonight as they have nobody in the 10K or the javelin.

Injured or resting?

I’m guessing injured, they wouldn’t rest her for this.
