Only Shaun Maswanganyi qualified. A few other guys were very close (Brome - TJ, Hamberlin - 200m/60m, Alexander - 60m). Shaun will run at 2:45 on Friday, then 2:10 for the finals on Saturday.
Also just want to point out for those worried we wont compete at nationals for outdoor competition, all our top seniors returned for outdoors (indoors wasn’t eligible for extra year). In the last indoor meet our seniors from last year ran unattached, Ware and Collins put up times that would have qualified for nationals in the 60m, Dayo would have been in for the hurdles, our 4x400 team would have been much faster too.
We aren’t as stacked as 2019 but I expect multiple Coogs in the finals of different events. Winning the 4x100 again is very realistic.
Ah, I saw they were unattached but didn’t know why. Thanks for that explanation.
Shaun ran a 6.67, did not advance to the finals.
