While I generally agree with the sentiment, it should be noted that the Senior Bowl is, at its core, a job interview. Going in and treating it like an “experience” probably isn’t a recipe for success.
Yea. And I bet several scouts are now thinking, “That cocky kid at weigh-in, I’m going to keep an eye on him.” And maybe a kid who wasn’t noticed is noticed.
Screaming at a weigh in is nothing and the weigh in isn’t the interview. The only thing the scouts want to know at weigh in are his numbers. When he gets on the field is when the interview really starts. How he does in one on ones, team drills, cones, and game is what will increase or decrease his stock, not a yell at weigh in.
