In the past I’d laugh at these posts. But now that we’re a top 10 team we’re really a potential player for any kid.

That’s crap. You don’t know the full circumstances of why that player may be transferring. Players transfer for many reasons. We have several transfers in our starting lineup. Try again.

You wonder how guys like Hutchinson CC PG Josh Baker and Northwestern Mississippi CC 6’ 11" PF Curry, both offered by the Coogs, get effected by all these transfers.

That means they’ll drop down a level and some lucky school could load up and make a serious run if they stay together

I know the staff is still going after Curry not sure on Baker. Since they’re older guys I think they will be fine. HS kids are mostly seen as developmental and a lot of coaches want to have older teams.

Just started thinking about this. Q is going to be an All-“American. And will be announced prior to the craziest transfer season we will have ever seen. Huge exposure for the program with these big-time guards in the portal.

One of the biggest reasons we need to get at least 2 transfers is because of our youth. I did not realize how young we will be next year. We will only have 3 upper class men, Fabian, Chaney, and Ima just say Sasser because it will be his 3rd year with the program, even tho he will still be listed as a sophomore.

Interesting article on how the transfer portal is shifting recruiting. Seems like a lot of schools are going to use the portal as there source of adding players.
Bring too many in and our youth might go portal!
