From the article:
After trading for offensive tackle Jared Veldheer, the Denver Broncos have an offensive line that looks like it’s coming together.
By acquiring a quality tackle, the Broncos won’t feel pressured to add an offensive tackle in April’s draft. Denver may still want to select a guard — Quenton Nelson is one of the top prospects in this year’s draft — but the offensive line no longer looks like a major area of concern.
Here’s a way-too-early offensive line depth chart for the Broncos:
LT: Garett Bolles, Cyrus Kouandjio
LG: Ron Leary, Max Garcia
C: Matt Paradis, J.J. Dielman
RG: Connor McGovern, Billy Turner
RT: Jared Veldheer, Menelik Watson
Good info Red. Totally forgot about that Cardinals trade for that behemoth tackle.
Interesting that this thread has morphed into a Broncos fan thread all of a sudden who would’ve figured!
I agree with Cougar85 they drafted 3 receivers and 2 tailbacks to strengthen the offense around CK, plus a guard as well.
Defense should be vastly improved if Chubb is the real deal, and the CB from Boston College should add depth. Defense can at least be above average at least and that should keep Denver and Case within striking distance to pile up the wins…probably need 10 to get a wildcard this year.
I never became a Rams fan, that crowd didn’t deserve Case. But last year a became a Viking diehard. Wanted to stay with them, but now Case is a Bronco, so I will follow Denver and hope for a great season.
“I like him,” cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said. “Everybody I’ve talked to, receivers, they’re excited about him. They say he throws an easy ball to catch. That’s what you want to hear, they haven’t said that too many times since Peyton was here. I think they’re pretty excited.”
This is huge. Young Mr Case Keenum comes in at spot 51 on the annual NFL top 100 list. This list is voted on by the players themselves.
For comparison Mr 84 million guaranteed Kirk Cousins was ranked in the 90s so Case bettered him by 40 spots. I absolutely didn’t expect Case to get in the top 100 much less 51st. Big time validation for him by his peers.
