Just opening a thread for him since he signed yesterday. He had been committed to Minnesota and SMU at times. He’s originally from Stockbridge, GA (Doug Belk) and had 14 total offers including Wazzu and Boise State.

Williams is a ball-hawk as he picked off 7 last year and 3 his freshman year at Highland CC. He also made 25 and 48 tackles in 10 games played each year. Last year he also had 1.5 sacks, and returned a pick and a fumble for TDs. He also returned his only Punt return for an 85 yard TD as a freshman.

When can he play? This year or next?

He’ll play this year. He is already on campus and will go thru spring drills with the new coaching staff.
