In addition, King offers an element of surprise that opposing defenses have to consider: If he lines up at center, he has the ability to run and throw and has “a command and presence,” Applewhite said of the position after a record-setting career at Manvel.
“It’s not just tricks and gadgets that you can use him,” Applewhite said.
I trust King to do almost anything on the football field, but think that we might not be using his talents to the fullest by playing him at center.

If he lines up at center, I have full confidence he could get the ball back to the QB; but I would be concerned with his ability to block those 300 pound DL’s.
