AAC Bad losses and Good wins

Cincy can’t hang on to a late lead against Florida and fall 66-60.

Tulsa is taking on Kansas State now.

Cincy looked awful in the last minute.

Yep, they were in that game and then just collapsed in the last minute. Gotta play a full 40

Tulsa gives the conference another nice win, beat previously 1-loss Kansas State 61-54 in Wichita, KS.

Tulane having serious trouble scoring against FSU. 21-10 with 6 minutes to halftime.

I read this as “elf”, lol. Guess I have too much Christmas on my mind, but Cronin is pretty short and I guess the connection was automatically made in my head.

Cincinnati takes care of previously undefeated Miss St 65-50.

Solid win for the conference – Miss St has played decent teams like Dayton, SHSU and North Dakota St but this was their first true road game.

Hopefully Memphis will not counter that with a home loss to Albany (Memphis up only 4 with 7:30 remaining in the 2nd half).

Memphis ended up winning against Albany. Pretty good win against a team that’s now 10-2.

Albany’s 10-2 is a little like Miss St’s 8-1 record – hard to tell this early. Now, if Albany can compete @ Louisville in a week…

I will be pulling for Memphis vs. Louisville on Saturday but that will be a tough one for them.

Agreed, but seeing Memphis pull out that win is nice for the conference.

Shockers currently down by 15 against OU. 6 min to go.

Cincy beats UCLA pretty easily.

Shockers lose to the Sooners.

Memphis kept it close against Louisville before losing by 9.

Temple beat Drexel by 3.

Those pesky Dragons…and SFA had to go an beat LSU. At least Arkansas and Wake Forest can continue to help the UH resume.

I thought Temple was supposedly a super team in our conference…

OR is it just because they are in the North East !

Maybe Drexel gets up for playing teams from the AAC… Who knows? It’s basketball…these things happen. Conference play is going to be interesting this year. Cincinnati seems pretty solid if their coach can keep it together. And Wichita St can play. Other than that it appears to be pretty open. Coogs at 3rd or 4th would be a pretty good season.
