Not to be that guy, but does Tulane have any of those? Otherwise not the best one to be bragging about it.

that’s what “that guy” says. haha, but yeah I agree.

:joy: Completely valid.

Tulane has had 3 players drafted in that time frame. A 5th in 2014 and a 5th & a 7th in 2015.

Early in the 2nd round, AAC now leads the BIG 12 with 2 players selected to one.

Zay Jones from ECU was taken 37th overall by the Bills.

And with Bowser going 47th to the Ravens, AAC leads 3-1

Now 3-2 as Joe Mixon goes right after Bowser…to Cincinnati of course.

AAC up 4-2 now as UCONN S Obi Melifonwu goes 56th overall to the Raiders.

5-2 now. AAC officially will have more 2nd rounders taken than the Big 12.

Temple OG Dion Dawkins goes 63rd overall to the Bills.

Edit: and that’s the 2nd round.

Big 12 was coming back in the 3rd with 2 players selected, but the AAC got one on the board when UCF DB Shaq Griffin was taken with the 90th overall pick by the Seahawks - AAC 6, Big 12 4

Classic example of Cougars eating their own. Does a fan have anymore right to brag about how his team plays than a Tulane fan have to brag about how the conference is doing?

I thought it was funny, guess you take things more serious… But that comparison doesn’t make sense. A fan is just cheering for their team, so success is success. Maybe a better comparison for you to use would be a fan bragging about his team’s attendance when he doesn’t ever go to games even though he lives in town? I could give you that one.

How awesome would it be if Kansas got more players drafted than Texas

Big 12 took the lead for a little bit in the 4th round, but the Howard Wilson pick by Cleveland at 126 and the Marlon Mack pick by Indianapolis at 143 puts the AAC back up 8-7 at the end of the 4th round.

AAC leads 11-8 at the end of the 5th round

Memphis K Jake Elliot (you’ll remember him from missing the kick at the end of the Memphis game 2 years ago) went to Cincinnati with pick 153

Temple CB Nate Hairston went to Indianapolis with pick 158

USF WR Rodney Adams went to Minnesota with pick 170
