Meh, poor preview of Houston’s kicking situation as Hogan and Novikoff won’t be on the team while Witherspoon is on scholarship. Witherspoon was 17-21 with a long of 58 yards for NE Oklahoma last year, and, if he can transfer that over, should be a fine replacement for Cummings.

Whoever wins the job has big shoes to fill, as they follow in the footsteps of the reliable Ty Cummings. With so much uncertainty, it’s tough to judge the Cougars at this position.
