Aresco trying to get 4 MWC schools

I have a hard time believing the Colorado St with just Air Force. When the MWC formed and when TCU was in the conference, Colorado St and Wyoming had a very strong rivalry. I don’t see one of them ditching the other for just a couple million. P5 yes, but not just a slightly lateral move. Things may have changed, but don’t see it.

I posted about this last week, about UH, UCF, and UC having new or renovated on-camps stadiums and basketbal arenas while Memphis uses city owned for both.

CSU and Air Force seem redundant.

Less so than the map would suggest. Colorado State is a Colorado school. AFA is a national school that mostly just happens to be located in Colorado Springs.

Colorado State, Wyoming, Air Force, and New Mexico have been in the same conference since 1980, and they have formed the backbone of two conferences (an earlier version of the WAC and then the MWC).
