SCOUTING THE SCARLET KNIGHTS
Rutgers enters Saturday’s contest with an 11-2 overall record and a 7-0 mark at home after defeating Princeton, 70-50 on Wednesday. The Scarlet Knights have won six straight games.

Rutgers shoots 43.0 percent from the field but only 29.7 percent from beyond the arc, leading to 70.3 points per game. Conversely, the Scarlet Knights allow opponents to shoot 36.3 percent from the field and 29.7 percent from deep while holding opponents to 54.8 points per game.

Rutgers has been led offensively by Tyler Scaife who scores 21.0 points per night and is the only Scarlet Knight to average double figures.

Caitlin Jenkins paces Rutgers on the glass, pulling down 7.5 rebounds per game off the bench.

Lady Coogs lose to Rutgers 75-57. Inexplicably, we only scored 7 points in the 2nd quarter.

Rutgers has the best record in the Big Ten. At the start of the game, the Lady Coogs had the best record in AAC.

The Lady Coogs BB team is much better than in years past, but this game shows far we have to go.

Good learning experience.

You can’t beat good teams without help around the hoop…I agree this is a much better team than recent years, but until coach Hughey gets some talent in the middle we will continue to struggle against decent teams…
