He was committed to Colorado up until late November. SMU, Tulane, Indiana, and Houston had been after him since the beginning of the new year.

Fantastic get!!! Thanks for sharing. CDH has made a huge impact in the one month that he has been here. We heard so much about Applewhite’s high school connections but CDH is really blowing that out of the water.

Was wondering when those coaches at shadowcreek were gonna send players to their alma mater. I’m a Pearland grad that now lives in Manvel. I spend a bunch of time near dawson and shadowcreek. Heck, Hightower is only 10min away.

I’m looking forward to seeing what this staff can do in the 2020 class. Recruit9ng under Apple was perhaps my biggest disappointment

Extremely limited sample size, but love what this staff has done so far with recruiting.
Just looking at the 2019 class we’ve gotten: a JC 1st team All-American (flipped from a league rival) and 2 good 3 stars with P5 offers. The staff has done this with virtually no time to work.

I think Dana knows what level of talent it takes to win at the highest levels.
I don’t want to completely bash Major, but in retrospect I don’t think he recruited very well. The interesting thing is that he was hired in no small part because of the support of the high school coaches.

Is Dixie still on the team, and if so, is he going to play this year for the Coogs? The offensive line appears to be a high priority issue for Hulk Holgo.

So is willowridge. All those schools are within 10 minutes or less of eachother. That area in Pearland should be hit hard
We’ll see how well Applewhite recruited this year as it’s on Holgorsen’s staff to “coach them up.” Much like Herman’s did with Levine’s kids. The offense improved a lot last year due to the change in OC’s. The defensive side of the ball is what brought Applewhite down.

What Coach Holgerson has done in his short time at the helm is nothing short of phenomenal. It’s been a while since I have been impressed with one of our recruiting classes but this is shaping up to be a very good one.
