247 has him rated as a 3 star prospect. Has offers from Purdue, Army, New Mexico, SMU, and Texas State
Whoa. Tone down your excitement bro. That’s not allowed here!
Nice! A few days ago you could tell he was leaning. Need these Jackboyz to beef up the secondary.
Major is killing it!
Is this #20?
No, Taylor committed a couple weeks ago. Just noticed that he posted the note from AJ Blum so I posted it here.
Still though, we have 19 right? Is 19 this time a year normal? Seems high to me (a good high, not like the Oregon kind).
Just listened to the Pawdcast guys and they mentioned that only LSU (22) had more. Checked it and they’re right. Minnesota also has 19, but that’s it.
Next closest non-P5 is BYU with 16. Next closest G5 is a tie between SMU, Rice, and Western Michigan with 14.
On the other end, some notables: UCONN has 1, Tulsa has 2, Kansas State, Mizzou, and Utah have 3, Tulane and USF have 4, Boise State has 5
That’s telling.
I think this is going to be a large class. Didn’t we only have 44 players at the spring game? Most rosters are around 70. Keep handing those schollies out like candy! We’re on a roll! haha
That 44 number is a bit misleading, it doesn’t account for all the injuries, precaution hold-outs, grades, etc. Still though we do have extra room.
It’ll all work out. The 2017 class had some real gems that might play early so that’s good news for this class as far as red-shirting. I’m excited! How many more days until week 1???
@67 days & it’s football
Yea but 247 is misleading at the moment. Temple has 16 but in the ranking only half of those are listed. They’re not taking into account the unrated players. So everyone in our conference has an inflated average at the moment.
