Ex Arkansas St coach right ?!

So counting a late enrollee, 3 of our last 5 commits were DTs. (all JUCOs) Now I need to dig up the thread where I got attacked from 5 different angles when I mentioned the thought, mid season, of a new defensive coordinator not being a 3-4 guy. haha

She just cares about car rides, the dog park and getting her favorite snack at bed time. She don’t care about that sports fan life.

CDH just said on the UH football Facebook page that we’re switching to a 4-man front. So 4-3 here we come!

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Of course with this change, any struggles the first year will be followed with “we should be running the 3-4” and “wish we had hired Gibbs” ad nauseam.

I’m surprising myself when I say this, but I think the fanbase as a whole will be patient with Holgorsen. They realize there isn’t much depth. Being a head coach is about much more than just X’s & O’s. It’s about surrounding yourself with the right staff and having a personality. As nice guys as Levine and Applewhite were, they just didn’t have “it.” Sumlin and Herman did, as does Holgo, IMO. So the fanbase will be patient with him when the team struggles next season. I hope so anyway.

The fans are going to be patient with Holgorsen because most of us like the hire. No one wanted Applewhite and looked for any excuse to jump ship .,

I think they ran a 2-2-4 against Army. Sure seemed that way!:stuck_out_tongue:

That was the only people that were medically cleared to play of defense.

Lol more like a 1-1-9.

We sure didn’t look like we have 11 players on defense that day.

My nephew played at Magnolia West a few years ago and they ran a 1-9 against the run and a 9-1 against spread offenses. Worked like charm, every time.
