And they keep on coming. 3* and we beat out 23 other schools including a handful of P5’s.
Go Coogs !
What’s going on in Houston camp, KA , Ed, and CMA must be on fire.
We are on a roll
Chance Amie is also a shoe in UH commit.
UH up to 33 in 247 composite!
Those ratings will go up once the season starts.
Just need to hang on to these kids through NSD now.
We’re only half way there at this point in time. There’s still a long way to go and a lot of things can happen.
This does help keep the summer time of the year interesting.
That’s what I’m afraid of. If 1 or 2 of these bigger names bail, it could start an avalanche. Does the new early signing period start this year?
Only way to keep recruits is to WIN and win BIG!
Yes, it does start this year beginning Dec. 20 and running through Dec. 22.
A lot of these guys seem super pumped about UH. There is always some attrition. It even happens to the Ohio States of the world. I personally hope Baylor tanks and we can poach a few of their current verbals.
my GOD, what a MONSTER!! boy had offers from K st, Kansas, Colorado St, Miss st, NC state, Wake, Memphis, Tulsa, every school in Louisiana NOT named LSU…wow…
You’re right, and it seems like there are more Dixie Wooten/Colin Wilder guys this year who are very verbal about recruiting other kids. I do see it as a positive sign, but still leery since HS kids are so flaky. The single most exciting thing to me about hiring Applewhite was his recruiting prowess. When I heard about all the Texas HS coaches calling and writing HY to support CMA, I was sold on the decision. Now we just have to wait and see what kind of CEO he is. I think @alantasdf is right, we have to win to hold on to some of these guys.
So is the early signing period and actual thing? Can some of these kids sign in December?
Yes, rule passed about a month ago.
The senior to be oscillated between defensive end and middle linebacker as a junior, racking up 120 tackles, 20 TFL, 5 sacks, and 2 picks in 2016. He’s a three star recruit and one of the top 100 players in Louisiana no matter what recruiting rankings you look at. The massive Brown does just about everything for Donaldsonville, but projects as a defensive end in college.
