Brown opened the weekend with three first-place finishes against SMU, starting with the 200-yard Freestyle. Brown posting a time of 1:48.86, her best this season.
In the 500-yard Freestyle, the sophomore swam by the competition, notching a season-best 4:54.79 for first-place.
Brown helped Houston to a top finish in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay, helping the Cougars finish in 3:28.16
The sophomore earned two more first-place finishes against North Texas the following day. Brown helped Houston to a 3:48.09 top finish in the 400-yard Medley Relay as the fourth leg. Her second top finish came in the 100-yard Freestyle when Brown turned in a time of 52.10.
The honor marks the second weekly honor for Houston and the first of Brown’s career.
