Great, but when are they bringing back Coog Brew? I prefer my Bud Light with a Red 40 chaser.

Does this have a negative impact on the smaller, craft like beers? I think the stadium has a strong beer game and hope this doesn’t push out the other beers.

I doubt that it pushes out anyone else except the Miller products on draft. The smaller breweries were represented when Miller was the official beer, I doubt it changes now. Hopefully they got paid well for it. More money coming in is great.

How about some IPAs in cans at the concession stands so I can skip the walk?

Depends on what you mean by the smaller craft brews. Don’t expect anything new, but St. Arnold’s and Karbach will still be there I assume St. Arnold is distributed by Silver Eagle and Karbach is straight up owned by InBev. That’s my thought on it, I do think UH would be well served to bring in a rotating selection of true local Independents throughout the season. It would really help establish an even stronger local connection to the town.

Maybe they’ll use the money by giving back to the beer drinkers…I don’t know…say, build some potties on the upper deck?

Can’t wait to see their beer delivery trucks rolling around town with UH logos on them.

Given that we’re the best college football program in TX, shouldn’t A-B sponsor us with one of their PREMIUM brands?

That would be more fitting, would it not?

Such as?

They think Bud Light is their premium brand.

Hopefully UH is getting more money for this than they got from Miller. We certainly have increased our value over the last few years.

After tailgating all day does it really matter what beer is being sold? If it does then your tailgate blows and you might want to step up your game.

And escalators! I don’t mind the stairs but my parents in their 70’s can’t do it.

Glad we have a major sponsorship, but Bud Light is the nastiest beer on the planet. Tastes like something you clean carburetors with (and yes I’ve tasted choke cleaner - not intentionally).

Excluding China, Bud Light is the #1 selling beer in the world and it sells more than the #2 Budweiser and #3 Coors Light combined. This is a “Big League” sponsorship. We should be celebrating instead on complaining.

I’m very happy to have this sponsorship. Doesn’t make the beer taste any better whatsoever. :fearful: And truly, a first world problem.
