Wilson is from Hutto, TX. As a junior, in the 5A state championships, he finished 2nd in the 110m hurdles, 3rd in the 300m hurdles, and 4th in the High Jump. As a sophomore, he finished 6th in the 110m hurdles, and 6th in the 300m hurdles.
This year, he has the top mark in the 110m hurdles and 12th best mark in the 300m hurdles among all Texas athletes.
