Richardson is a senior at Vero Beach High School, where she is coached by Gavin Ross . As a Fighting Indian, Richardson has been a top scorer since her freshman year, where she was the 4A State runner-up in the 100 freestyle. A three-time state finalist, Richardson has swum 50 and 100 freestyle, switching to the 100 and 200 her junior year. Over the course of her FHSAA career, she has broken 7 school records: 50, 100, 200, 500 freestyle, 100 butterfly, 100 backstroke, and 200 individual medley. Richardson has been recognized regionally as well, winning Treasure Coast Swimmer of the Year her freshman and sophomore years.
