Tall, hard-throwing righty from Delaware who played in the LLWS a few years back. USA Today had him on the 2nd Team All-Delaware Team as a sophomore and Perfect Game has him as the best player out of Delaware in this class.

Canes 2019 RHP and Red Lion Christian (DE) product Nate Hardcastle has committed to the University of Houston and Head Coach Todd Whitting. During 2018 Nate played under the guidance of Canes American 2019 Head Coach Rob Younce. Canes GM Dan Gitzen had this to say about Hardcastle. “Nathan Hardcastle is a big time arm with huge upside. He has a super quick arm that shows with a fastball that reaches into the low 90s with a power breaking ball that has a chance to be a true swing and miss pitch at the next level. On top of that Nate is a tireless worker who gets better each time out and should carry that work effort into Houston in the fall of 2019.” We would like to congratulate Nate and the Hardcastle family on his commitment to Houston.
