Come join the University of Houston Alumni Association in celebrating Shasta’s Birthday on Sunday September 24, 2017 at the Houston Zoo.
The party will take place all day at the Houston Zoo with Shasta receiving his Birthday Cake in the morning at 9:30 am. We will also have cookies, hand fans to keep cool, Shasta training demonstration, meet the keeper segment, a cougar tail activity and a big birthday card for everyone to sign for Shasta.
Timeline of events
9:30 a.m. - Birthday Chat - habitat will be decorated to celebrate Shasta’s birthday
1:30 p.m. - Training Demonstration/Chat
3:00 p.m. - Meet the Keeper Talk
We look forward to seeing everyone come out on Sunday for Shasta’s Birthday!!!
If you are unable to make it in the morning, feel free to come later as Shasta will be celebrating his birthday all day.
Special admission rates for guests:
All UH Students will receive free admission to the Zoo with a valid UH Student ID and all other guests who wear their UH gear to the Zoo will receive $5 off regular zoo admission from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
