The Big XII and PAC-12 are auditioning for the 4th and final spot it would seem and I hope the Big XII “Championship” game is the final nail that kills their chances at the CFP.
UCF would then need to displace a PAC-12 team or possible undefeated SDSU team. Going to be tough. Plus, UCF will already have lost the AAC Championship in Houston so it’s a long shot. But, if it happens, you can say you called it when it looked next to impossible.
