University of Houston Chancellor Renu Khator joins Houston Matters to share her vision for the future of the university and to answer your questions.
Khator sat down with host Craig Cohen to discuss everything from campus safety in the wake of the Florida school shooting, to the ongoing legal challenges to the Trump administration’s efforts to end the DACA program, to the University of Houston requiring all faculty and staff to undergo face-to-face sexual misconduct training (in the past, such training had been conducted online).
Also, Khator answers questions about a new building planned for the UH Law Center, the university’s eventual new medical school, and efforts to serve and improve the neighborhoods surrounding the central campus.
