Class of 2019 offers

He committed to Virginia Tech but lists a visit to UH this weekend, so we’ll see. We are really looking to load up on DL. Keep in mind that while those true freshmen we had playing near the end of the season really should have been redshirting, they’re most likely going to be fine players in time, DL like Logan Hall, Willie Smith, and Tahj Brown. Add Payton Turner, Isaiah Chambers, Taurus Payne, Justin Harris, Olivier Charles-Pierre with a few more such as Jaden Cunningham, Atlias Bell, and Jamykal Neal, and we won’t be seeing any DL situations like we had near the end of this past season.

If he signed with us would he be coming in for this fall?

He would join us in the summer when He graduates.

Well, we need CBs:

6 feet tall 157? A little light in the drawers. But we can fix that!

Hes up to 175

UH can get him close to 185 when they play OU

He has experience playing at a non-high school level. That makes him an automatic starter, right?

At this point, that may be the case.

This is why I didnt put much stock into Spring game scrimmages or game. The transfer portal is a game changer, just like shifts are for MLB. Plus, there are some talented jucos out there that have been offered by UH.

Btw, want to know how much better of a coach Dana is than Major, just look at the contrast of games against the same opponent (Texas Tech) at their place when they were playing their best football. You can’t tell me WV had much better talent or athletes.

JUCO CB Kelvin Clemmons will be on a visit to Houston. Strange situation here as he actually enrolled at Minnesota and spent the spring with them before deciding to transfer again. If he ends up here, not sure he’d be able to play right away.

Would be an awesome pickup. Will feel a lot better about CB with him and Damarion Williams as starters next season.

Man… Would be HUGE! I think the deadline to sign is next Wednesday… So expect a few visitors this weekend. Hopefully, the weather is decent. Heard the bad weather gets here on Thursday evening and leaves Saturday morning.

Btw, he would be able to because he never played with them.

I just hope the gocoogs doesn’t announce he is expected to sign here . That would be the kiss of death.
