JUCO CB Darrell Luter from Pearl River CC - His other offer is from South Alabama (no 247 page yet)
If we get Joel Williams out of Baton Rouge, who has offers from LSU, Georgia, UT, TAMU, and OU, it will be a major coup – and a miracle.
BTW, I believe in miracles.
I have a feeling we’re going to land a few highly rated players this cycle.
3* WR Kelvontay Dixon from Carthage, TX - Has offers from Arkansas, Texas, Baylor, Colorado, Oklahoma State, TCU, and SMU
I hope Holgo can pull this one.
3* CB Tajiri Smith from Atlanta - Has offers from Boston College, Syracuse, Kentucky, Memphis, Coastal Carolina, South Alabama, Kent State, Ohio, Buffalo, Liberty, Eastern Michiganand Western Kentucky
S Armani Maddox from Atlanta - Has offers from Maryland, Kentucky, Syracuse, South Alabama, Eastern Michigan, Liberty, Kent State, and Akron
JUCO OT Martin Veinberg from Iowa Western CC via Finland - Offers from Minnesota, Virginia, Wazzu, UMass, and Marshall
Big dude who will go to JUCO next year and have 3 years of eligibility (or possibly 4 if he redshirts) in 2020. Was (is) a 3* out of high school with offers from Nebraska, Florida, Wazzu, Rutgers, Temple and Old Dominion
CB Damon McFarland from New Orleans - has offers from ULM and La Tech
3* LB Edgerrin Cooper from Covington, LA - Offers from Mississippi State, Louisville, Memphis, Tulane, and others
Picked up a commitment today…just not sure who. Coaches are tweeting about it.
JUCO WR John Jiles from Fort Scott CC - Has offers from ECU, Memphis, Southern Miss, Marshall and UMASS
Originally signed with Marshall out of High school. He led Fort Scott in receptions (37), yards (600), and TDs (6).
probably was Grad transfer Samuel from UCLA who just committed w one year eligibility left. Lots lots of offers for 2020, lost track of who has committed for sure under new Staff.
Pinned post at the top of the Football Forum has a list of who’s committed for each class. Just one commit for 2020 right now: OG Kendal Septs from Ft Bend Austin
Who will be #2 commit.
Good question. I have a feeling you’re correct in that the coaches were tweeting about Samuel; he retweeted all three of those guys. Figured that since they were using the #H20 hashtag that they were talking about a 2020 commit.
yep saw that too. Doesn’t look he had much of a successful/impactful career at UCLA but I guess right now more bodies is needed in secondary.
Seemed like he may have been coming on before the ACL injury. Another year of recovery could make a big difference.
