Wren committed to Georgia. Carl Lewis was recruiting him hard as well.

Man Georgia track is going to be good with Wren and that other fast kid on Sportscenter.

My guess is Alabama or LSU but nice to see us with those other schools

JUCO DE Myron Green from Coffeyville CC (originally out of New Orleans) - offers in that 1st tweet below

Green didn’t record any stats last season and I didn’t see anything about him signing with anyone out of high school. Was a 2 sport-star in high school (basketball and football)

We have been showing up on some serious narrow down lists lately.

Nice to be on those lists…even if we don’t get those guys.

It sure feels like we are viewed in a different light by the upper end recruits. Is it CDH, is it the Ed effect, AAC improving in stature, is it the facilities? Or is it all of those things.

I have a feeling our Peach Bowl victory, the fact we’ve had 6 straight winning seasons, Big Ed, our consistent ability to get players drafted, the city of Houston, and the fact that some kids are realizing that it’s better to possibly get to play a bit earlier rather than sit on the bench for two years before transferring.

I think we also have some real good recruiters on this staff.

I’m sure it doesn’t hurt to have so many on this coaching staff who played for a non-P5, coached for a P5 and are now back coaching at a non-P5. I’m sure they have quite the stories to tell and the life experience to back it up. I feel pretty confident they are speaking a language the parents of some of these kids can really relate to.

It’s nice, but if they don’t sign it doesn’t matter. I’d hate to lose out on some high 3 star who gave up on us because we were courting some stud who had us in his final list, but went to Bama or the like.
