Rivals is reporting he signed today.

Owens or Tune?

It would be Owens. Tune can’t sign until February.

I’m totally cool with running out of scholarships if kids can’t make a decision and others who want to be here commit. But the idea of “running out of scholarships” as you imply meaning it’s not real, that’s border line malfeasance on the coaches part.

The big time programs over sign all the time. Maybe this staff knows something, like a kid is likely to be leaving or what have you? As far as Tune is concerned, I like the plays where he starts running only to make a play down the field with his arm. Now that’s quarterbacking IMO.

The Houston Football program added the 24th member to its 2018 signing class Wednesday with the addition quarterback Clayton Tune, an early enrollee from Hebron High School.

Tune, who was ranked the No. 19 quarterback in the nation by ESPN, closed out his high school career with 6,686 passing yards and 1,074 rushing yards with 66 passing touchdowns and 20 rushing touchdowns. He completed 181-of-270 passes for 2,416 yards and 23 touchdowns as a senior while rushing for 368 yards and nine scores after totaling 2,445 passing yards and 22 touchdowns with 512 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns as a junior.

Tune is the sixth member of the 2018 signing class to enroll in classes beginning with the 2018 spring semester, joining junior college transfers Bo Alexander and Gleson Spreewell, along with early high school enrollees Tahj Brown, Garrison Vaughn and Julon Williams.

So I guess Tune enrolled at UH but can’t officially sign with us until February? But the fact that he is enrolled means UH can tweet about him and announce it?

I like the way Tune is playing today. He is making his decisions quickly and doing an excellent job on his reads. #keepmeeatingcrow

Great movement in the pocket, too.

It’d be cool if he caught Klingler

1600 more yards

It will be tough.
Take out ECU and its some of the better pass defenses in FBS.
SMU #57, Temple #21, ECU #104, Tulsa #6.

He passed Klingler.

Having been a fan since 2003, Ive been fortunate enough to witness all 3’s careers at UH, but ive been especially spoiled by the sheer quality QB’s weve had that didnt make the record books;

Greg Ward

David Piland

D’eriq King

Kyle Postma

Kyle Allen
