Coldiron, Houston set for NCAA regionals

Anyone who hasn’t seed Coldiron in a while won’t be surprised to know that, now that he’s a junior at the University of Houston, nothing has changed.

Coldiron, the dark-haired kid with the big grin, is now an infielder with the Cougars’ baseball program, and he’s loving life. Coldiron and the Cougars are 40-19 this season, just won the American Athletic Conference championship, and on Monday, they were rewarded by being selected as one of 16 programs to host a regional this weekend – the beginning of the road to the College World Series.
