So, the two guards coming in next year are 6’-6" and 6’-5"…Nice.

Has UH ever had two guards that most likely will be on court at same time at that height ?

Cheney/Reynolds…maybe ?

While I was attending UH in the 1972-'73 season at times we played with 6’10" Maurice Presley, 6’10" Dwight Jones and 6’8" Steve Newson up front along with guards 6’9" Louis Dunbar and 6’4" Jerry Bonney. And, that was before we substituted in 6’8" David Marrs or 6’9" Sidney Edwards.

So yes, we could go really tall. Then again, we could sub in 6’2" Donnell Hayes who was quick as a hick-up (and my wife’s favorite player that season.)

I remember that team well. It was known as the tallest team in college basketball.

As excited for Gresham as Jarreau, believe it or not.

His numbers at UMass on the face of it don’t look amazing, but considering considering the minutes he was playing they were pretty solid. I would love to see how Gresham does competing for minutes with ideally Brady and Harris returning at the 5 next year.

Look out! Ballers on the way!

Davis reminds me of a young Rob Williams.
