Looks like Tyus Bowser and GW2 had some productive games last night.

Let’s see how they did this week:

Bengals: William Jackson III (DB) and Brandon Wilson (DB)
(L 25-23 to Giants)

  • Jackson made 2 tackles and recorded a pass defensed
  • Wilson made 1 tackle

Bills: Ed Oliver (DL)
(W 24-20 over Lions)

  • Oliver didn’t record a stat.

Broncos: Steven Dunbar Jr (WR)
(L 10-6 to Rams)

  • Dunbar was targetted once in the game, ball was deflected before it arrived and intercepted

Cardinals: Cameron Malveaux (DL)
(L 20-9 to Vikings)

  • Cam didn’t record a stat for the Cardinals. He may have been injured and not sure he played, but can’t find snap counts.

Chargers: Emeke Egbule (LB)
(L 23-15 to Seahawks)

  • Egbule was in on 15 defensive snaps and 4 special teams snaps, and recorded a tackle.

Chiefs: D’Juan Hines (LB)
(L 27-17 to 49ers)

  • Hines saw 2 snaps on special teams and didn’t record a stat

Colts: Matthew Adams (LB)
(L 27-17 to Bears)

  • Adams recorded 3 tackles after coming back from a minor injury that kept him out of the 2nd preseason game.

Dolphins: Joey Mbu (DL), Kenneth Farrow (RB), and Chad O’Shea (Offensive Coordinator)
(W 22-7 over Jaguars)

  • Farrow (2 snaps) and Mbu (3 snaps) didn’t record stats
  • O’Shea’s offense went for 271 yards on 61 plays, didn’t turn the ball over, and was 2-3 in the red zone.

Eagles: Greg Ward Jr (WR)
(L 26-15 to Ravens)

  • Ward had 4 receptions on 5 targets for 45 yards.

Jaguars: DJ Hayden (DB)
(L 22-7 to Dolphins)

  • In his 1st action of the preseason, Hayden made a tackle and recorded a tackle for loss.

NY Giants: Thomas McGaughey (Special Teams Coach)
(W 25-23 over Bengals)

  • 1/1 on FG from 41 yards, 2/2 on XP. 4 punts for a 42.8 yard average and 2 inside the 20. 3 kickoff returns for 23.7 yard average and 4 punt returns for a 19.3 yard average and a 68 yard return for a TD.

Panthers: Kyle Allen (QB)
(L 10-3 to Patriots)

  • Kyle was 3 for 6 for 16 yards. None of the Panther QBs had a great outing and Cam Newton went down with an injury.

Patriots: Elandon Roberts (LB) and Nick Thurman (DL)
(W 10-3 over Panthers)

  • Light night for Roberts…only played in 5 snaps on defense and 2 on special teams, but did record 2 tackles.
  • Thurman played in 10 snaps on defense and 1 on special teams, but didn’t record a stat.

Raiders: Isaiah Johnson (DB)
(W 22-21 over Packers)

  • Johnson has still been sidelined since the 1st preseason game due to a concussion.

Rams: Romello Brooker (TE) and Wade Phillips (Defensive Coordinator)
(W 10-6 over Broncos)

  • Brooker saw 18 snaps on offense and 6 on special teams. He was targetted once, but did not make a reception.
  • The Rams defense was disruptive, holding the Broncos to 213 yards on 57 snaps. They picked off one pass and recorded one sack as well.

Ravens: Tyus Bowser (LB)
(W 26-15 over Eagles)

  • Bowser had a huge game, recording 4 tackles, a sack, 2 tackles for loss, and a QB hit.

Redskins: Case Keenum (QB)
(W 19-7 over Falcons)

  • Case was 9-14 for 101 yards in the win.

Saints: Terrell Williams (DB)
(W 28-13 over Jets)

  • Williams got 24 snaps and made 3 tackles in the win.

So who do you think makes final rosters?

Make it

  • Ed Oliver - Bills
  • Case Keenum - Skins
  • Tyus Bowser - Ravens
  • Elandon Roberts - Pats
  • DJ Hayden - Jax
  • Greg Ward Jr - Eagles (I think he makes the final roster finally. Well deserved too!)
  • William Jackson III - Cincy
  • Bandon Wilson - Cincy
  • Matthew Adams - Colts

Borderline

  • Kyle Allen - Panthers (with the Cam Newton injury)
  • Kenneth Farrow - Dolphins
  • Joey Mbu - Dolphins
  • Terrell Williams - Saints
  • D’Juan Hines - Chargers
  • Cam Malveaux - Cardinals

Sadly, I believe the rest are on the outside looking in.

I think Allen is probably a good bet to make the roster. He seems to have been running ahead of anyone else as Newton’s backup.

I think Egbule is borderline with the Chargers and he’s getting snaps. Might be a practice squad guy though.

Isaiah Johnson will most likely make the Raiders unless they start him on IR for the concussion. Might be better for him and give him more time. Their secondary is awful though.

Brooker is borderline with the Rams. Probably a practice squad guy for now though, but they don’t have depth at tight end.

T-Will is getting snaps and Saints seem to like him. May start the season on the practice squad, but their secondary is bad so he may get a shot.

I think Farrow, Mbu, Hines, Dunbar, Thurman, and likely Malveaux will be looking for work after cut day. Maybe 1-2 of them can catch onto a practice squad somewhere…otherwise, they’ll be looking at the XFL.
