Chris is probably making good money. Turkey pays really well.
Our other guys not so much. British Ball pays pennies. France isn’t much. Greece is in the middle.

Keep in mind he is in the 2nd division for the 15th place team. He does not make as much as Rob, Corey, or Devin Davis. If he keeps putting up numbers, he will get a nice jump up somewhere else next season
Another Armoni update, he will be in the G-League draft on Monday. Its going to be tough to get selected as teams are limited to 10 guys and teams aren’t required to make a pick if they dont want.
In this weird draft/expansion draft for the G-League bubble, Armoni got picked 10th overall by RGV. You Rockets fans should be happy about that. Also Cumberland from Cincy will be joining him there.
Fourteen seasons at Cincy paid off!
Is this a one-season thing and he’s still affiliated with Atlanta? Or is he now a part of the rockets organization? I don’t really get what happened.
If you’re on a g league contract you aren’t tied to the organization officially. Even if you play on there G league team, any team can you bring you up to the big leagues. G league contracts are year by year. 2 way contracts officially tie you to the organization.
Neither NBA team has any rights to him. Whether his G-League returning player rights stay with RGV for the 2021-22 season or go back to College Park, I have no clue. If he gets back into an NBA training camp next season, then that team would have his rights for their G-League team.
Thanks
I live in England and I had no idea the British Basketball League even existed
Nate Hinton played in his 1st game last night, little over 1 minute of play, got blown by one of the Martin’s from Nevada, but good to see him on the court for the Mavericks
Armoni Brooks is on the move again! This time to New Zealand. Joining the NBL, same league Lamelo Ball and RJ Hampton just came from.
I was wondering when he’d decide to go overseas. But why make this move when he just got drafted for the GLeague?
Mo money ???
LaMelo and RJ were in the Australia NBL (which has one team from New Zealand), Armoni signed with a team in New Zealand’s NBL.
Nice article that calls UH a big time program!

Since G-League is a short bubble season, I am guessing he is doing both. Games start in New Zealand end of April.
Article confirms this.
Way to go, Armoni! It’s awesome that so many of our former players have the opportunity to play in Europe and other overseas leagues. Perhaps it lacks the glamour and prestige of the NBA, but experiencing a different culture brings very unique awards that these guys will cherish for the rest of their life.
