Since May, Hinton’s been racking up the offers. Now has offers from Minnesota, Illinois, Indiana, Miami, Oklahoma State, Clemson, Maryland, Auburn, Arkansas, Pitt, Wichita State, Penn State, Virginia Tech, and Tulsa among what was previously reported.
“Right now I am just taking it all in and focusing on having the best July that Nate Hinton can have. After July I will discuss with my family about college and I will go from there. My sole visit is to the University of Houston on the second week of August.”

Espn 100 Nate Hinton makes his pledge to Kelvin Sampson and the Houston Cougars. Hinton has an all-around scoring game. Hinton had a strong summer campaign and is a big recruit for the Cougars.

@pray10 how is the scholarship situation going to be work out. I’m glad coach Sampson has been upgrading the talent for the last couple years. I know Dimon Carrigan will visit UH this weekend coming up. He’s a defensive terror for opponents.
My question was, how is CKS going to have enough scholarships to go around if the limit is 13. If UH lands Carrigan, that would put UH at 15 players eligible to come back or enroll next season.
I’m sure we will cross that bridge if and when we come to that point.
[NOTE: Who knows, but maybe some guy(s) like Breaon Brady or Gabe Grant or Valentine Sangoyomi… could end up looking for more playing time elsewhere.]
