Yes, I believe that UH would have the win the national championship, and then have the AP vote after the season was over in order for the UH team to be voted #1 in the nation. Not too likely to happen this year.
On the other hand, if UH makes it the Sweet 16 this year (with a decent chance of doing so), then we could very well see CKS voted #1 - as the National Coach of the Year!

Perhaps I should have been more clear…I just meant first single vote as AP #1 as in one guy with one ballot votes UH #1. I imagine that’s possible if UH wins its next five.
