Hudson’s Kyle Lovelace was aiming for his third consecutive district Defensive Player of the Year honor.
He wasn’t able to make it a three-peat. That’s because Lovelace received a higher honor as he was named the District 21-4A Most Valuable Player.

Lovelace, who has signed with the University of Houston, hit .355 this season with 10 doubles and 22 RBIs.

D’Mond LaFond (Refugio HS/RHP), makes top 500.
