I firmly disagree with the judges scores in the dunk contest. Watch the videos above and the winner obviously had the least difficult dunk of the group. Just plain vanilla . . . . . expect these judges on “Dancing with the Stars” next Monday night . . . . .

These type of events should be held either on a Friday or a Saturday to maximize attendance.

I went and was disappointed they didnt show it on the big screens but I guess it wasnt about the watch party is was about the team. I did however get to watch it on one of the monitors in the club area. Sasser can shoot the 3 when not under pressure, coach is really funny, Q looks more comfortable, the video was good.
Make sure to download cue app because I think they want to have a good fan experience light show.
Am I going crazy but did anyone notice new signage around the stadium? Like posters and stuff?
Also they havent displayed the trophy yet in the case. Guess they’re waiting for the right game?

I’ve been thinking (I know, it’s a bad idea) about a better day than a Tuesday to hold Cougar Madness . . . . .
Monday . . . . . Monday night football
Tuesday . . . . . obviously Astro’s will be playing on every Tuesday in October
Wednesday . . . . .
Thursday . . . . . no competition except for jr. high football (Coogs cannot come to CM because they have to attend the kids games and cannot bring the kids to CM), plus there is NFL TNF and AAC football
Friday . . . . . now we find high school football . . . . . every Cougar will be attending their kids football games
Saturday . . . . . College football from 11 til after midnight plus some High School football, Nascar
Sunday . . . . . NFL football all day long
Yep, I see several days much better suited for the game than Tuesday, including Fundsday, Swempsday and Noday . . . . .
As you might notice, I’ve only included a few sporting events that occur on the days leading up to Cougar Basketball . . . . .
This team is going to be filthy good. We can compete against anyone in the country.

Those dunk signs… We swear we could have seen something like those being passed around the student section before UH tried to stop us. Wonder who is handling that this season
(Yes, we know these were PSJ things and are happy to see these around, but it would be nice to get some thumbs up from and credit from UH after bringing these back and passing them to everybody last season.)
Adding on to that, we just got confirmation that our organization (currently the only registered organization over Coog Crew/BC) is bringing back Who’s He for another season, AND a certain Oscar the Grouch lookalike is returning as well.
