Horns beat a ranked Purdue on the road. UH played a scrimmage vs a team from the Lone Star Conference. I don’t think we have room to complain.

Yep, and we weren’t in the 1st poll either. We actually gained 7 votes as we only had 11 in the preseason poll. Pretty good for not playing a true game yet.
Let’s see how we do against Alabama State and BYU this Friday before worrying too much about rankings. If we stomp BYU, that’ll get some notice by the voters.
