UP NEXT With the completion of The American Championships, the Cougars will learn their NCAA postseason fate. The NCAA Selection Show will air at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 4, on Golf Channel.
The Cougars look to be sent to one of these six NCAA Regional sites: University Club (Baton Rouge, La.); The Grove (Murfreesboro, Tenn.); Kampen Course (West Lafayette, Ind.); Stanford Golf Course (Stanford, Calif.); UT Golf Club (Austin, Texas) or Washington National Golf Club (Auburn, Wash.).
With his impressive performance this week, Perras became the first player in Houston history to win an NCAA Regional title and a conference tournament championship. He captured the 2016 NCAA Franklin Regional with a score of 16-under 200 a year ago.
