When I was a kid, my mom would give me a bath with a cup of Clorox added to the tub of water to get rid of chiggers. It worked.
My great grandmother had some kind of liquid coal tar and coal oil and put it on any cut or scrape. Of course it would heal because it burned like hell and was afraid of another application.

I deleted my pic, not sure why that offended anyone. A protester wearing a shirt that has an American flag with “love it or leave it” while carrying a flag of a group who decided to “leave it” is funny to me.

I guess you can add in everyone gets a trophy mentality also. With eliminating standardized tests it appears we’re taking another big step in that direction. But good one! You made me laugh. 
I’ll admit, I do believe it worked with my kids. I’m the softy with my girls. My wife comes from the ass whooping mentality. She is Asian and that was how she was raised. Thinks Americans are very soft and let their kids run wild.
