“I’m so excited for Hannah to have earned the honor of Academic All-American”, said Head Coach Diego Bocanegra. “In the classroom, within the community, as a SAAC leader and on the soccer field she demonstrates what it means to be a complete student-athlete.”

The award is voted on by sports information directors across the country. Nominees must have at least a 3.30 grade point average and be a contributing member of their soccer team.

Dauzat closed out a decorated career at Houston where she posted 10 goals and four assists. The senior was the second-leading goal scorer on the squad during the 2017 season after posting six goals to go along with two assists.

The Cypress, Texas native has achieved success in the classroom as well and is a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection, and four-time member of the Dean’s List. Dauzat is in her first year of graduated studies and is working on her MBA. Outside of soccer, Dauzat serves as the Vice-President for the Student-Athletics Advisory Committee.
