Ole Monty is all over the place with predictions … he apparently knows that 9 want UH and BYU but doesn’t give it much hope uhhh 30% and it will be a miracle … that Boren suffering from dementia has been taken out of the loop no doubt most likely by his BorRs and that they are active now and not asleep at the wheel … most importantly that Big12 fans are flooding the Big12 headquarters with proposals.

Want to clarify it wasn’t Patrick saying this, but that’s how it appears when I quote it. But seriously. Who is really still making this argument? We have all seen the viewership numbers people have been posting on here since last year. Adding UH turns Houston from an SEC-dominated market to a split market instantly. Heck, I would even argue UH would give the Big 12 the upper hand because playing regional foes will give us even better numbers than playing UConn, TX ST and Lamar.
And then this dandy from the dolt at Fox.
How in the world would adding UH and BYU be dilutive in the short term? What is this guy smoking? The only way these 2 teams (or any 2 teams) would be dilutive is if they come in as the worst teams. Has he seen Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State and Tech play recently? I just can’t put a lot of faith in decision-makers who apparently are basing their decisions off 10 year old facts.
Mentally, I’m preparing myself for the worst today. But honestly, if we don’t get in, my only concern will be losing Tom Herman. Not getting into this dumpster fire of a conference might actually be a good thing in the long term if we can find another suitor quickly.
Got another email from Welcome Wilson Sr about the get together at Fertita’s house on the 20th. No change in the agenda of Discussion regarding Big 12 efforts and update on the court battle with STCL.
I’m just hoping a resolution, one way or the other, will come for this entire dog and pony show. It definitely has been a circus watching the “Big” 12 work and do their due diligence. Rumors, speculation, guesses, prayers, and criticism have been out there and this evening we will find out whether or not this circus show continues. Either way, GO COOGS!
Saw that on reddit already, most people say if this guy really posted, he is now jobless, and that probably every school’s print shop is making these and crossing fingers. UC is the only place dumb enough to post it.
Today’s meeting was probably a formality resulting from last night’s dinner…imo. They probably decided last night, let everyone sleep on it and voted today.
