Ed Oliver Q&A: UH star on the Heisman, the NFL and more

Q: What was it like being on the cover of Sports Illustrated?
A: It was cool. I felt the photo shoot was something different, it something I wasn’t used to. I actually liked it a lot. It’s something to have, something to look at. I feel like I made my family proud. I feel like I made my city proud. I feel like I made my brothers proud. Without them I wouldn’t even be on the cover. Just the people around me that helped me get there is really what’s special about the whole situation.

Patrick, if it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t know nothing. Thanks again and always.

I try, Rick. Appreciate it.

Thanks to everyone that visits the site and for everyone that says nice things about me. I don’t usually respond, but I do see them and try to favorite them when I see them. You guys make this site what it is and it’s much appreciated. Go Coogs!

Yes, thank you for posting Patrick. This piece clarifies what Sam Khan missed, grossly missed.
