Eli Hall pulls out of IAAF World Championships

This explains a lot of his frustration lately:

“While this is certainly disappointing, I did not want to hurt Team USA if I was not able to compete at 100 percent. That being said, I am really excited for next year and the Houston sprints group we’ll be able to put out on the track,” said Hall. “I’ve got five months to improve physically and to get into the best shape of my life. When the season comes around, I’m looking forward to helping our program compete at its highest ability on the national level.”
