Great picture.
You can see the reason that I think the inside camera should be mounted on top of the old tunnel. There may
be constructions reasons that it cannot be mounted there.
However, while is is currently useless (whatever the issue is)
the picture it yields is not very meaningful.
Pretty sure we got a new floor about 10 to 12 years ago when we got the new basketball goals.
One thing that confused me is seeing them remove the outer shell. I thought they were going to just cover the shell. If we are gutting the inside and removing the outside, how is this procedure cheaper than demolishing and rebuilding?
The outer facade I think you mean and less than half of that. Trust me, the structure is still in place and all that Steel and concrete is not cheap in today’s construction world. The roof stayed intact…or at least about 99% of it.
A new arena would probably cost us around $90 million; or 50% more of what we’ll spend on the renovation.
They added another interior camera.
Guessing it is located opposite from the other one.
Still I wish they would put one on the lower level on top of the old entrance tunnel. But…hey !
Great tour. About 60 people showed today.
I was struck by how much closer to the court the last (top) row of seating will be.
Especially since the court was not lowered.
Can’t wait for this man!!! So excited
I think a time lapse video of this entire project would be pretty incredible watch given the amount of work being done from old to new.
We walked through yesterday and I can’t wait. Only a few hundred season tickets left
It looked great. It should have a major impact on recruting.
A few hundred ? Who told you that ?
